💀Skullpoints PvP System

Player Guide

Introduction

Welcome to the Skullpoints PvP System! This guide will teach you everything you need to know about earning points, climbing the rankings, and using your points for rewards.

What is Skullpoints?

Skullpoints are special points earned through Player vs Player (PvP) combat. These points can be used to purchase announcers, reset statistics, and more. There are two types of points:

  • PVP Points - Earned from regular PvP kills (1 point per kill)

  • WOE Points - Earned during War of Emperium (2 points per kill)

Getting Started

Requirements

To start earning Skullpoints, you must meet these requirements:

  • Level 70+ - Both you and your opponent must be at least level 70

  • Level Difference - Maximum 20 level difference between you and your opponent

  • Valid PvP Map - Any PvP-enabled map (or all maps if enabled)

How to Check Your Stats

  1. Find the Skullpoints PVP Stats NPC (Location: Main Hall)

  2. Click on the NPC

  3. Select "My PvP Statistic" from the menu

  4. View your kills, deaths, KDR, points, and streaks

Earning Points

PVP Points (Regular Combat)

Points per Kill: 1 point

Earn PVP points by killing other players in PvP-enabled maps. Points are automatically added to your account when you kill a valid opponent.

WOE Points (War of Emperium)

Points per Kill: 2 points

Earn DOUBLE points during War of Emperium events! WOE kills award 2 points instead of 1, making WOE the best way to farm points quickly.

Anti-Exploit System

To ensure fair play, the system has several built-in protections:

1. Level Restrictions

  • Both killer and victim must be level 70 or higher

  • Victim must also meet the minimum level requirement

2. Level Difference Limit

  • Maximum 20 level difference allowed between players

  • Example: Level 90 can kill Level 70-99 to earn points

3. Alt Account Protection

  • You cannot earn points by killing characters from the same account

  • This prevents players from creating multiple accounts (alt accounts) and farming points between them

  • Note: Characters on the same account cannot be online simultaneously, so this primarily protects against alt account farming

4. Same Player Limit

  • Maximum 3 kills per day on the same player

  • After 3 kills, you won't earn points from that player until the next day

  • This prevents arranged farming between friends

5. Kill Interval

  • Minimum 30 seconds between kills to earn points

  • Prevents spawn camping and rapid kill farming

6. Hourly Limit

  • Maximum 50 kills per hour to earn points

  • Prevents mass farming and bot exploitation

Understanding the Statistics

Kill/Death Ratio (KDR)

Your KDR is calculated as: Kills ÷ Deaths

  • Perfect KDR - If you have 0 deaths, your KDR shows as "Perfect"

  • Higher is Better - A KDR above 2.0 is considered excellent

  • Example: 100 kills / 50 deaths = 2.00 KDR

Kill Streaks

Killing Streak (KS) - Number of consecutive kills without dying

  • Resets to 0 when you die

  • Tracked up to 10 kills

  • Higher streaks unlock special titles

Multiple Kills (MK)

Multi-Kill - Number of kills within a short time period

  • Tracked for rapid kills (within 18 seconds)

  • Resets after 18 seconds of no kills

  • Awards special titles like Double Kill, Triple Kill, etc.

Nemesis

Nemesis Kill - Number of times you've killed the same player

  • Shows your dominance over specific opponents

  • Counts consecutive kills on the same player

  • Resets when you kill a different player

Feeder Protection

The system tracks players who die repeatedly:

  • Feeder Penalty - Players who die 10+ times in a row may face penalties

  • Rollback - Kill counts may be reduced for feeding

  • Kick/Block - Severe feeders may be kicked or temporarily blocked

Rankings & Leaderboards

Viewing Top Players

  1. Talk to the Skullpoints PVP Stats NPC

  2. Select "Player Ranking"

  3. View the top 10 players by total kills

  4. Rankings show: Kills, Deaths, KDR, Killing Streak, Multi-Kill

How Rankings Work

  • Rankings are sorted by total kills (highest first)

  • Ties are sorted by KDR

  • Rankings update in real-time as players earn kills

Using Your Points

Pointshops

You can spend your points at the Skullpoints Shop NPC (Location: Main Hall):

  • PVP Points Shop - Use your PVP points to purchase items

  • WOE Points Shop - Use your WOE points to purchase items

Important: Pointshops use points separately - you cannot combine PVP and WOE points in shops. You must choose which shop to use based on which type of points you want to spend.

  • Each shop has its own items and prices

  • WOE Points Shop often has better prices since WOE points are harder to earn (2 points per kill vs 1 point per kill)

  • To access shops, talk to the Skullpoints Shop NPC and select which shop you want to browse

Character-Bound Items:

  • ⚠️ All items purchased from pointshops are character-bound

  • Items cannot be traded to other players

  • Items cannot be stored in Kafra storage

  • Items cannot be sold to NPCs

  • Items are permanently bound to the character who purchased them

Announcers

Purchase different announcer styles to customize your kill announcements:

Free Announcers:

  • DotA (Default) - Free, available to everyone

Premium Announcers (Purchase Required):

  • HoN - Heroes of Newerth style

  • Ms. Pudding - Cute/funny style

  • Flamboyant - Energetic style

  • English - Classic English style

  • Balls of Steel - Bold style

  • BreakyCPK - Unique style

How to Purchase:

  1. Talk to Skullpoints PVP Stats NPC

  2. Select "Announcer Setting"

  3. Choose the announcer you want

  4. Pay with: Zeny, Ygg Coins, or Skullpoints (combined PVP + WOE points)

Note: When paying with points, the system combines PVP and WOE points - it uses PVP points first, then WOE points if needed.

Reset Statistics

Reset all your PvP statistics and start fresh:

Cost Options:

  • Zeny: 10,000,000 Zeny

  • Ygg Coin: 25 Ygg Coins

  • Skullpoints: 10,000 Points (combined PVP + WOE - uses PVP first, then WOE if needed)

Note: Your points balance is NOT reset, only statistics.

Tips & Strategies

Maximizing Points

  1. Participate in WOE - Earn 2x points during War of Emperium

  2. Target Valid Opponents - Ensure they meet level requirements

  3. Maintain Streaks - Higher streaks = better recognition

  4. Avoid Feeding - Don't die repeatedly or face penalties

Improving Your KDR

  1. Play Defensively - Stay alive longer

  2. Choose Your Battles - Don't fight when outnumbered

  3. Learn Maps - Know escape routes and safe zones

  4. Equipment Matters - Better gear = better survivability

Avoiding Point Loss

  1. Respect Kill Limits - Don't kill the same player more than 3 times/day

  2. Wait Between Kills - 30 seconds minimum between kills

  3. Don't Farm Alts - Same-account kills don't count

  4. Watch Hourly Limit - Max 50 kills/hour for points

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Why didn't I earn points from a kill?

A: Common reasons:

  • Your level or opponent's level is below 70

  • Level difference is more than 20

  • You killed the same player more than 3 times today

  • Less than 30 seconds since your last kill

  • You've exceeded 50 kills this hour

  • You're killing a character from the same account (alt account protection)

Q: Can I use both PVP and WOE points together?

A: It depends on where you're using them:

  • In Pointshops: PVP and WOE points are used separately. There are two different shops:

    • PVP Points Shop - Uses only #PVP_POINTS

    • WOE Points Shop - Uses only #WOE_POINTS

    • Each shop has its own items and prices. You cannot combine them in shops.

  • In Skullpoints Features (Resets & Announcers): Points are combined. When purchasing stat resets or announcers through the Skullpoints NPC, the system will use PVP points first, then WOE points if needed. For example, if a reset costs 10,000 points and you have 6,000 PVP points and 5,000 WOE points, it will use all 6,000 PVP points and 4,000 WOE points to complete the purchase.

Q: Do my points reset when I reset statistics?

A: No! Only your statistics (kills, deaths, streaks) reset. Your point balance remains intact.

Q: Can I change my announcer later?

A: Yes! You can change your announcer anytime at the NPC. Premium announcers only need to be purchased once.

Q: How often do rankings update?

A: Rankings update in real-time as players earn kills. Check the NPC anytime to see current rankings.

Q: What happens if I disconnect during PvP?

A: Kills are saved immediately, so you won't lose points even if you disconnect. Statistics are saved automatically.

Q: Can I see who killed me the most?

A: The system tracks nemesis kills, showing which players you've dominated most. Check your statistics at the NPC.

Q: Can I trade or store items purchased from the pointshop?

A: No! All items purchased from the Skullpoints Shop are character-bound. This means:

  • ❌ Cannot be traded to other players

  • ❌ Cannot be stored in Kafra storage

  • ❌ Cannot be sold to NPCs

  • ✅ Permanently bound to the character who purchased them

This ensures fairness and prevents exploitation of the point system.
